I felt helpless as I watched Russia invade Ukraine and wanted to help so I’ve created two ways to raise money for the Canada-Ukraine Foundation to support the Ukrainian refugee efforts. Here are the general guidelines if you’d like to donate a completed Fiber Art piece:
- The theme is “Solidarity Sunflowers” so hook a sunflower, a field of sunflowers … let’s flood the world with these sturdy, magnificent blooms to show our support!
- As you’re creating, consider size & shipping cost as the winning bidder will cover the cost of shipping
- You will create & keep your piece and I will slot it into the auction schedule.
- When it is your turn I will place your item up for bid as the “Featured Item” and contact you for more information that will be needed to arrange shipping when the auction ends
- I will contact the winning bidder and use USPS or Canada Post to create and pay for a shipping label
- I email you the prepaid shipping label and you assemble, label and send the package
